It is entirely true that you can set aside enough money for a fabulous vacation  faster than you think!  You can set up a vacation fund the same way you set up a Christmas fund, and personally, I would rather have a great holiday than spend a lot of money on Christmas presents.

Last year I took the kids and grandkids to Hawaii for a week, and I think they enjoyed it more than lots of presents on Christmas morning, I know I got way more pleasure out being able to spend that week with them.
