In today's hectic world, it is harder than ever to connect with the ones you love.  Your kids grow up before you know it.  Don't let the hectic everyday struggle take this precious time away from you.

Your family and friends are what make your world go round, so make sure you set aside time to be in the moment with them, without letting the everyday intrude.  Make vacation time a priority!  Maybe a Gran Canaria vacation is not on the books for you, but no matter what, plan that down time!  Unfortunately, too many people don't do this, they are always worried about the job or some other pressure.  Don't let this happen to you!

Set up a Gran Canaria vacation fund

It is entirely true that you can set aside enough money for a fabulous vacation  faster than you think!  You can set up a vacation fund the same way you set up a Christmas fund, and personally, I would rather have a great Gran Canaria holiday than spend a lot of money on Christmas presents.

last year I took the kids and grandkids to Hawaii for a week, and I think they enjoyed it more than lots of presents on Christmas morning, I know I got way more pleasure out being able to spend that week with them.  I spent time playing in the warm waters and lounging on the sand with my grandkids, and the entire family went one night to a luau, where I danced the hula with my granddaughter!

You may think by my statements above that I a rich person, but I truly do not have a lot of money.  I was able to do this with some careful planning and by taking advantage of sales and discounts.  Look for them, they are out there!
